I chose to research this short story by Nathaniel Hawthorne because I was interested in older pieces of writing and philosophy.

The trope enemies to lovers is when 2 characters start off as enemies and over the course of the story they fall in love due to some circumstance. On clueless Josh and Cher have this type of relationship.I chose to do my project on this since i find it interesting how the relationship develops

I decided to do my project on this album because of the love triangle described in some of the songs. I am focusing on the writing style and the imagery she creates in songs.

I wanted to research and learn more about Taylor Swift because she is my favorite singer and I love all of her songs.  I chose this album because it has most of my favorite songs and the songs I like the best.  More about why I want to research her is because I want to learn more about her like why she wanted to become a singer, how long it takes her to make albums and more!

I studied ‘Consider the Lobster’, an essay written by author and critic David Foster Wallace. I was particularly interested in his prose style and the way that his unique syntax adds to the piece. For my own writing, I deviated in subject matter – mine was much less philosophical – but still tried to incorporate elements of his style, like footnotes. (I also tried to make it slightly stream-of-conscious, like his, though I’m not sure how effective this was.)
