As someone who has struggled with mental health, I feel that it is important to spread awareness and always be sensitive to what people are going through. Most of the time these issues are glorified to the point where everyone thinks they have something wrong with them when they don’t know how difficult it may be for people who go through it on a day to day basis. But, people who think they have a problem still have something they are going through to make them think like that. My goal of this project is to prove that everyone’s feelings are valid, no matter who they are or what they go through by comparing life to a thunderstorm. I have completed two other practice poems including a lift a line poem and a golden shovel writing poem. I have also looked at plenty of books and gathered 3 poems to go along with my final piece.

I’m writing a poetry about heartbreak because it’s something I can relate to. It’s also a way to let all my feelings that I have holding in out. 

My project is a scene script for the psychological thriller book turned movie Gone GIrl. I chose this scene/picture of Amy Dunne in the bathtub to write my script because to me she has a longing look that can be perceived as sad and tired or dead and cold. I wanted to look into the mind of Amy Dunne to understand if she was a psychopath or just an unhappy woman in her marriage.

For my assignment i chose to use love poetry. When i first got into poetry i absolutely adored all the ones about love, in a way they sort of helped me know the downs and the ups about love and how being in love can either be complicated or somewhat easy. 

Introduction-

Throughout history, technology has influenced the ways in which people interact with each other and invade other civilizations. Weaponry and tactics have influenced the success of armies and allowed for countries to expand to large empires and kingdoms. I will be discussing popular weapons that display culture that have symbolic meaning for different civilizations and how they are viewed by opponents. War can be crucial and silly at times comparing world wars to wars over lobsters.

Introduction: I chose to research comic books because I like things about superheroes, and I wanted to observe any similarities and differences between superhero teenagers.

According to my dad, parmesan cheese is the best cheese. “And that is a fact,” he always says. Me? I don’t agree with him. I love cheese. All cheese, except for parmesan. That cheese is depraved. So evil! Hate parmesan, love muenster cheese. It just has this incredible taste. It’s like, you put it in your mouth, and your whole mouth is muenster cheese. It’s insane! Anyways, my dad likes parmesan cheese. Disgusting! One time he packed me a ham sandwich with parmesan cheese for lunch. I did what any other person who hated parmesan cheese would do: I threw it on the ground! What was he trying to do? Poison me?
